Mazie Year is a unit of time equal to 4 months.
I don't like calendar years because they are too long. There's no need to base my life and plans on the orbit of the planet if it's such an inconvenient unit. There are not enough of them in a lifetime.
New Mazie Year is celebrated on 27th January, 27th May and 27th September.
To avoid confusion, I still use the usual calendar years for expressing my age.
Mazie Years are not numbered. However, as of 2025-10-24, they are named*. They can also be identified by corresponding them with the Gregorian calendar.
